Apps for Law Students and Legal Research
The Apps I talk about are apps for iDevices. Hamlin University School of Law compiled a list of apps for law students. You can check it out here. UCLA also has a list with a focus on legal research. Check it out here. Two lists differ enough so I am listing them both. My personal favorites among the two lists: Fast Case, Law Stack, SSRN, WestlawNext, New York Times, Black’s Law Dictionary (if I can afford it), dragon dictate. However, I would add a few more. They could include: Dropbox, Instapaper, audioMemos, ToodleDo, Blackboard Mobile Learn, Just PDF.
The State of Web Technology
UST will move to Terminal 4, but the final migration date has not been set.
For next year, UST will remain on Blackboard. The year after next, no decision has been made yet, whether staying on Blackboard or moving onto Moodle.
Others
Mid-term is coming up fast and furious. It will be time for ExamSoft training.
